Feral Theatre supports End Ecocide in Europe
February 6th, 2013Ecocide is the extensive damage to, destruction of or loss of ecosystems of a given territory. The End Ecocide in Europe campaign is pushing for ecocide to become a crime for which companies and individuals can be held responsible according to criminal law and the principle of superior responsibility.
With the European Citizens’ Initiative, Europeans can call on the Commission to propose European legislation. A law to criminalise ecocide in Europe. If one million citizens sign, the Commission will have to carefully examine the proposal. Get on board and sign here!
